Client Success: The Drainage Store TV & Digital Campaign Goes Live on NBC4, May 3 in the DC market

I’ve been going at it for a while now in my spare nights and weekends building up this company while helping creators, non-profits, and small to medium-sized businesses get noticed through creative digital marketing. This campaign represents a business segment that RT7 plans to fully engage in the coming years.
How It Started
It began in summer 2020 with a conversation about teleprompters. RT7 had recently completed a new web presence for The Drainage Store and I was discussing additional marketing and advertising potential with friend and store manager, Jason Reynolds. Having worked with teleprompters in a previous position I brought up the idea that it wouldn’t be difficult at all to speak directly to a camera through a teleprompter brought into the store – no need to memorize any lines. In August 2020, Route 7 Media teamed with the amazingly talented crew at Wraith Films and Busy Brain Productions to put together a concept for a TV campaign and make a plan for production. One thing led to another and beginning Monday, May 3, those spots will air on NBC4 and digital channels in the DC market.
RT7 worked with TDS to identify target demographic segments and collaborated with the very talented Katherine Craft of Busy Brain Productions to put together an engaging and informative collection of :10, :15, and :30 second spots that could appeal to those segments.
Filming occurred in September 2020 in Falls Church and the TV + digital campaign and budgeting details were worked out in April 2021 with local NBC affiliate WRC-TV / Washington with Route 7 Media as the representative ad agency.
