Donna Gaines, a sociologist, journalist and New York State Master Licensed Social Worker, Dr. Donna Gaines grew up in Rockaway Beach, Queens, a surf town made famous by the Ramones. She worked with Route 7 Media to develop an online presence for her book, “Why the Ramones Matter” (University of Texas Press).
